Started in 1965 as the "Coast School for the Physically Handicapped" by Miss Margaret Bridgewater (the later Mrs Margaret Beetham), an English Methodist, the school over time has developed into a mixed (boys and girls) boarding school under the auspices of the Methodist Church of Kenya. Although some parents are able to pay the school fees, many are not. We are therefore dependent on additional funding from well-wishers and donors.
And as due to being underfunded, we are understaffed, we welcome English speaking volunteers with different skills and capacities.
